What I Learned about Scholarly Research

 Recently my CARD-101 writing class got invited to go to Oesterle Library which is our college campus library. While we were there we got taught how to research using data bases that our college provided for us. On the data bases we can get reliable articles and texts from reliable sources. This is really helpful because I am sure I will need to use this in the future when doing research for future projects.

Specifically we were working on finding evidence to help prove our Rational arguements that we have been working on in class. The lady in the library taught us how to find relevant articles to our topic as it may be hard to find good articles by just looking up our topic. We had to be more specific in our search for good texts to come up.

In the future I think I'm going to look back on the notes I took from this informational lecture to use it in future research projects. I am really glad I have this resource to find scholarly articles that I am able to trust. If I ever need any help with figuring out how to use the search engine I know I will be able to find that help in Oesterle Library.
